Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a CNC Operator in Georgetown, KY . This is for a permanent opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As a CNC Operator you will assist the Tool and Die CNC Machinist department with installs, tests, repairs and maintenance of the plant production machinery, support equipment, building and other systems . Responsibilities for this CNC Operator job include:
Interpret customer prints, engineering specifications, layout results and functional requirements
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, etc
Disassemble and troubleshoot die and mold quality issues
Ability to make judgment calls on tool repairs
Be proficient with operating tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill presses etc
Read all measuring tools (mics, calipers, indicators, scales, height gages, etc)
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years machinist/tool and die work experience
Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills
Technical or trade school a plus
Excellent communication and ability to work with a team
Ability to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends and shutdowns
Must have reliable transportation
Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
MUST be able to pass background check, physical and hair follicle drug test
