Ideal candidates will have the experience below, please note only qualified applicants will be contacted.Position: Senior System Administrator - 2025422Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI - willing to get POLYPay Rate Range: $110-130k/yearDuration: long-term contractLocation: ON SITE - Fort Carson, COAdditional Details: IAT Level II Cert (Sec+) REQUIREDDay to Day Responsibilities:Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsManage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systemsProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemProvide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systemsInstall/load operating system and application softwareIsolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereofTroubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceIntegrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems?Required Skills and Experience:Education:High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelors Degree with 6 years of experienceSecurity Clearance Level:TS/SCI, Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractRequired Certification(s):IAT II 8570 Baseline Certification -Security+ CE or equivalentMCSA Server 2016 (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 90 days from start date.)Apex Benefits Overview:Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
