Job Description
General Overview: As an Operations Engineer in utilities, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving utility systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting surveys to locate and assess utilities, performing routine maintenance, recommending new equipment or procedures, and providing technical support for water systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage facility and utilities improvement projects, equipment modifications, and upgrades.
Provide engineering support to plant operations 24/7, overseeing facilities, utilities, and equipment.
Lead plant shutdowns and coordinate maintenance activities.
Develop and implement systems to improve environmental and safety compliance.
Anticipate operational problems, study operating targets, and maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with major utility providers and understand their design and construction approval procedures.
Salary range is $75-110,000 depending on experience.
