Reporting to the Deputy Village Manager/CFO, the ideal Assistant Village
Manager is a person that embodies the Village of Glencoes passion for
concierge-level service. This is a high-impact role that supports
operations across a full-service organization, analyzing processes,
leading special projects, overseeing administrative functions, and with
a front row seat in implementing the Villages new strategic plan. Youll

Salary Grade: 8 (\$120,420-168,588)
FLSA Status: Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime)

What Youll Do:
Lead & Innovate: Drive process improvements and strategic
initiatives across departments.
Engage with the Community: Act as a liaison to the business
community, fostering relationships and economic growth.
Support Governance: Providing direct support to the Village
President and Board of Trustees; serving as a staff liaison to boards
and commissions; overseeing records management; and acting as the Deputy
Village Clerk and Freedom of Information Act Officer.
Manage & Mentor: Supervise the Communications Manager and Customer
Support Specialist, ensuring top-tier service and engagement.
Special Projects: Lead and participate in cross-departmental teams
to complete high-priority initiatives.
Oversee Operations: Manage daily administrative and customer service
functions for the Administration and Finance Department.
