Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Electrician for a plastic injection facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues and conducting routine inspections to ensure optimal machinery performance on plastic injection equipment. You'll also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting as needed. Candidates must be able to read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and schematics, as well as possess relevant certifications and experience in industrial settings, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on plastic injection equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal machinery performance.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
Mechanical and PLC troubleshooting as needed.
Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and schematics.
Essential Skills
5+ years of industrial multi-craft maintenance experience.
5+ years of experience with LOTO and working with 480v 3-phase systems.
5+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, machine drawings, and electrical schematics.
5+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs.
Formal certification, technical degree, apprenticeship, or journeyman card.
Ability to own and use a basic set of tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Maintenance experience with plastic injection equipment.
Ability to read and interpret control diagrams.
Ability to program PLCs.
Welding and fabrication skills.

Work Environment
This facility has mostly older equipment with a lot of oil leaks. There are initiatives to start upgrading the equipment this year, but the successful candidate needs to be comfortable working in oily conditions in the meantime. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $37.00/hr.
