Description
There is an urgent need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle Accounts Payroll, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Responsibilities
Update Accounts Payable
Other assignments as requested
Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Fashion cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Draw up monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Outline business license and gross receipts
Credit Card management and reconciliation
Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Oversee Accounts Receivable
Mark budget transfers
Conduct monthly accounting close
File cash flow projections, as needed
Requirements - Financial Transaction experience required
Practical knowledge of IFTA
General familiarity with Vendor Manage Inventory
Monthly Sales Tax experience highly preferred
Solid understanding of Reconcile Account
Strong familiarity with customer invoices
Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Taxes
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Adeptness in Process Payroll
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
