Minimum Qualifications:
-New York State Certified Teacher in Social Studies 7-12.
-Experience teaching high school global history classes preferred.
-Ability to provide differentiated instruction to students at all levels.
-Ability to use authentic and traditional assessments to differentiate instruction and improve student achievement.
-Evidence of academic success at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
-Strong work ethic and commitment to school's mission and vision.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-Evidence of positive classroom management skills.
Qualifications Desired:
-Experience teaching high school students.
-Strong computer skills and ability to integrate technology into instruction.
