JOB SUMMARY
Our company is seeking a highly motivated
Civil/Structural Engineer IV who will be responsible for coordinating high
level structural and machinery design projects with other Engineers,
designers, project managers, or other professionals. This includes
supervising and participating in many Civil Engineering duties such as
analysis, layout, design, and review of construction for a wide range of
projects. These projects involve any type of ropeway transportation systems,
e.g. Ski lifts, gondolas, tramways, APMs, observation wheels, etc.
This position plays a key role in coordinating and designing the drive
train, tension system, line equipment, and specialty tools that are used
in LPOA's products. This is a full time, exempt position hiring at
$92,000 - $99,000 annually based on relevant experience &
certifications. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on
company and personal performance of established goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to)
Coordinate, perform, and review design/analysis of various complex
structural systems.
Assign tasks to and review the work of other engineers, designers,
or technicians.
Provide support to construction teams and respond to requests for
information, review shop drawings and adjust designs to as-built/field
conditio
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineering License (or ability to obtain license immediately).
4+ Years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience.
Ability to obtain a Professional Engineering License.
Ability to complete and communicate complex engineering calculations and
designs.
Ability to communicate and manage others effectively and efficiently.
3+ years of experience utilizing CAD software.
Experience with using and referencing structural design codes (IBC,
AISC, ACI, etc.).
Travel 10%.
English Proficiency.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with the following:
o Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics
(CFD) Software.
o CAD: Kubotek KeyCreator, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Siemens NX.
Ability to travel (domestic and international).
