Job Title: Coatings/Exterior Sealant Crew Lead and Driver
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Project Manager
Location: Based in Grand Junction, CO
Summary:
Busy specialty contractor searching for a reliable, motivated, coatings
technician in support of residential and commercial waterproofing, damp
proofing, fireproofing and exterior sealant projects throughout western
Colorado and eastern Utah.
Essential Duties:
Install caulk into joints using bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of
buckets, using "sausage" tubes, or standard tubes.
Apply damp proofing material to foundations and walls utilizing sprayer
or brushes according to manufacturer directions and instruction of project
manager.
Mix material when required utilizing a drill and mixing paddle according
to manufacturer's directions.
Transport materials and employees utilizing company vehicles from shop
to project safely and efficiently.
Clean tools using specific care and precautions.
Organize and maintain cleanliness of project, yard, and or shop.
Direct and hold accountable coworkers to ensure productivity, quality
of work, and safety is adhered to at each project.
Ensure all equipment, tools, and materials are gathered for the
project at hand.
Support and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to take initiative and get tasks completed with supervision.
Ability to listen to and follow directions.
Ability to use small equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Detail oriented and organized.
Team player with positive and cooperative attitude.
Education and Experience:
No experience necessary, we will train reliable, honest, and
motivated employees.
Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
Bilingual (Spanish and English a huge plus).
Work Environment:
Typically, Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM but can flex earlier or later depending on
project. Based primarily out of our headquarters in Grand Junction, CO. but
will require daily travel to jobsites throughout western Colorado and
occasionally to other areas. Transportation is usually provided from
headquarters to jobsite via crew truck. Must be able to lift, push,
pull, and carry up to 25lbs. Must be able to climb stairs and navigate from
one level to another, work in uneven terrain and inclement weather.
