JOB SUMMARY
Our company is seeking a highly motivated Machine Operator - Press-Brake to
manufacture products utilizing a Computer Number Controlled
(CNC) press brake and other machinery. This role will look at blueprints
or plans for the finished products and make adjustments to the machine as
needed to ensure the final product is defect-free and ready for the next step
in production. This position will initially be a day shift position that will
move to a night or weekend shift. This is a full-time, hourly position
hiring at $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately program and operate 440-ton CNC press brake.
Accurately layout and drill various parts on multiple machines.
Safely and effectively operate 12' shear.
Safely and effectively operate plate and profile rolls.
Safely operate forklift and other machines in the shop.
Interpret Engineering drawings and be able to produce the required parts.
Perform inspections and verifications on all job tasks.
Perform daily preventative maintenance on operating equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED equivalent.
Ability to travel with a valid driver's license.
Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with basic and precision tools to take accurate measurements
(e.g. tape measures, speed squares, calipers, micrometers).
Authorized to work in the United States of America
Proficient in the English Language
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years experience as a Press Brake Operator
Proven ability in utilizing advanced math skills (e.g. trigonometry)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
