MIG/TIG WELDER II

JOB SUMMARY
Our company is seeking a driven & detail-oriented
MIG/TIG Welder II to perform complex welding tasks using both metal inert
gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding equipment. This role
will be responsible for understanding and applying welding techniques,
working quickly & skillfully with their hands and with others to complete
components in specified time frame. This position must also be successful in
acquiring a 3G certification within first 90 days of employment. This is a
full-time, hourly position hiring at $21.00-$26.00 per hour based on
relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads & interprets basic blueprints, recognizing issues with
drawings when they arise and asking questions.
Accurately performs layout, fit up, cutouts, drill,
fabrication, weld joint preparation, build and weld properly all of our

Evaluates and monitors weld machine settings per Standard Operating
Procedure for proper performance.
Performs visual inspection on own work for incomplete fusion,
incomplete joint penetration, undercut, porosity, cracks, bad
appearance and correct if necessary.
Moves finished products using rigging straps and chains to safely
operate overhead cranes & forklifts.
Mentors and assists less experienced welders perform their job in an
efficient manner.
Knows and follows safety procedures as required in a specific
operation, as well as company quality standards. Wears applicable Personal
Protective equipment (PPE) while conducting, or in the vicinity of
welding and cutting activities.
Keeps work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all
equipment and facilities.
Demonstrates excellent attendance, safety, housekeeping, and
general work habits.
Participates in all required training & professional development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma / GED Equivalent
Must be successful in acquiring a 3G certification within first 90 days.
Valid Drivers License with the ability to travel as needed.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Proficient in the English Language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years previous welding experience and/or welding certificate.
Proficient with SAP and Time Tracker.
