JOB SUMMARY
Our company is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented
Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all products produced by the company
and suppliers meet the appropriate quality standards at every stage of
production. This role will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests
at various stages of production to ensure compliance with Technical Office
standards and customer requirements. This is a full-time, hourly position
hiring at $24.00-$28.00 per hour based on relevant experience &
certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts quality control inspections on incoming materials &
supplier/outsourced products, productions-in-process, and finished
products throughout the manufacturing process.
Inspects products to identify defects and nonconformities and makes
recommendations for corrective actions.
Identifies special processes to be performed on hardware and directs the
product to outside operations.
Verifies calibration of inspection equipment and tools and maintains
calibration records.
Maintains accurate and organized records of inspection results and other
quality control documentation such as non-conforming material reports,
root-cause analysis, and inspection logs.
Communicates with engineering & production personnel and their
supervisors to ensure compliance with quality control guidelines and
procedures
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas
for improvement in manufacturing processes.
Mentors and trains employees on quality related skills, methods,
accountability and ownership when needed.
Performs additional inspections including Romer CMM inspections, and
certified NDT testing such as UT, Mag Particle, HRC testing as needed
(with certifications required for NDT activities).
Operates a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility as
needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED equivalent.
Previous experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing
environment.
Hands-on inspection tools & equipment experience (i.e. tape measure,
calipers, micrometers, etc).
Ability to travel as needed, with a valid driver's license.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Proficient in the English Language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional education or certifications relevant to quality control.
