Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is primarily focused on accounts payable duties within the restaurant industry, with a strong emphasis on electronic invoice handling, account coding, and financial statement generation.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Oversee the validation and transfer of electronic invoices
• Carry out precise account coding and posting activities
• Handle daily sales operations and banking procedures
• Maintain an organized filing system for all financial records
• Generate and manage multiple sets of financial statements each month
• Resolve customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in Excel for data management and analysis.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential
• Must be experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to manage Approved Invoices efficiently
• Familiarity with Code Invoices is required
• Knowledge in Coding Invoices is a must
• Experience in dealing with Customer Invoices is expected
• Should be adept at Entering Invoices
• Ability to Enter Vendor Invoices efficiently
• Proficiency in handling Invoice-related tasks is necessary
• Experience in the Restaurant industry is preferred
