Corewell Health Talent Program Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Summary

Responsible for development, planning and execution of strategic policies and programs, specific to the assigned area. Consults with stakeholders and leadership to develop strategy. Ensures that projects are achieved within scope, time and resource constraints and are executed to deliver an exceptional employee experience for all employees system wide. Works with leadership to plan and assign staffing for given projects. Manages projects, acting as a program advocate crossing multidisciplinary lines to meet program needs and ensure prompt, professional service. This senior-level professional position exists in multiple functions/COE's within HR.

Essential Functions

  • Conducts internal and external research to identify and understand best practices in key business processes and programs that will result in an exceptional employee experience.

  • Analyzes research and presents to leadership.

  • Plans scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing based on research and strategic direction.

  • Creates project plan based on scope, goals, deliverables, resources and timing.

  • Builds effective relationships with team members, stakeholders and vendors to clearly communicate project objectives and expectations.

  • Effectively manages project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are approved by leadership.

  • Plans, executes and evaluates pilot period for new processes and programs prior to launch.

  • Implements processes and programs.

  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle.

  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to leadership.

  • Ensure all documents are archived following project completion.

  • Facilitates individual and group sessions (orientation, career development, engagement, feedback, etc.)

  • Determines how results will be measured.

  • Measures and evaluates process or program effectiveness and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree business, human resources, organizational behavior or related field

  • 5 years of relevant experience human resources, project management or program development. Required

Preferred

  • Masters degree
