This position is responsible for the overall supervision of the
operation during their shift and assigned managerial tasks involved with
day-to-day operations of the business. The assistant manager will
support the General Manager/Owner ensuring the highest level of customer
service is being provided while following established policies and
procedures. The assistant manager will report directly to the General
Manager/Owner. Examples of work performed in the position include, but
are not limited to, the following: \' Maintain positive and enthusiastic
interactions with customers and staff \' Work dry cleaning technician or
laundry attendant shifts as needed \' Responsible for the scheduling of
staff members \' Responsible for certifying employee time cards \'
Responsible for managing the cloud based Point of Sale system \' Assists
the General Manager/Owner in hiring of staff \' Responsible for training
new employees on laundromat and dry-cleaning procedures \' Diagnosis of
and/or schedule repairs for washer/dryer machines and dry-cleaning
equipment \' Assists in monitoring daily revenues and expenses and makes
recommendations to the General Manager/Owner to maximize profitability
\' Must be able to work a variety of shifts (opening, closing, possible
weekends) \' Shall maintain frequent and open lines of communication
with the General Manager/Owner \' Other duties as required or assigned
by the General Manager/Owner
