Calf Milk Farm Research Technician
This is a permanent full-time position working with young calves. Duties include: feeding of milk replacer and starter, medical evaluation and treatment of animals, administering vaccinations, castrating, dehorning, data collection, bedding and cleaning pens, operating a skid steer, power washing, and other duties as assigned. Employees will be required to be fitted for a half-mask respirator.
Experience-Education (Required): High school diploma
Competencies-Skills (Required): Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Competencies-Skills (Preferred): Skid steer or tractor experience. Livestock experience.
Schedule:
C ombination of 6:00am - 2:30pm and 11:00am - 7:30pm based on the needs of the farm. We are able to make employees aware of their schedule 2-4 weeks in advance. Some weekends and holidays required.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Some weekends and holidays required.
