Drew Marine USA Associate Product Manager, ES&P in Greece, Greece

Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager, ES&P will provide technical and traditional product management skills to manage a portfolio of selected Engineered Systems & Products (ES&P) on a global basis. The products are diverse in function, but all serve a similar role in supporting certain systems and/or programs on maritime vessels. The role has a technology component in that the Associate Product Manager, ES&P must be the final decision maker on the Value Proposition to be communicated to the commercial team and the end-user customers. The Product Manager will connect cross-functional teams to achieve long-term metrics and short-term goals, while monitoring the product lifecycle and communicating with R&D and/or supplier(s) on new customer needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage global product offering, monitoring sales and pricing positioning to ensure maximum value to the organization.

  • Manage global product brand to ensure Drew’s suite of product solutions evolves with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

  • Manage supplier relationships and instruct Operations on business requirements.

  • Develop product collateral, including product data sheets, sales presentations, and demonstration kits.

  • Monitor the marine industry trends and identify opportunities for new offerings.

  • Proactively learn all business functions required to achieve success in the assigned product line(s) while building systems to incorporate new product lines as they might be acquired.

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

  • 1-2 years in a technical/commercial role or industrial marketing experience required, preferably in the Maritime Industry

  • Demonstrated product and/or project management results

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English language is required; additional language capabilities are a plus

  • Understanding of IMO regulations, including MARPOL Conventions, Classification Societies’ rules and Flag Administration requirements a plus

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and diligent in advancing long-term projects

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, especially in Marine Transportation or Marine Engineering a plus. MBA with a concentration in Marketing highly desirable.

Physical Working Environment:

The position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time. Position requires domestic and international travel approximately up to 25%.
