Job Summary:
The Recreation Program Lead for the Active Adult Center will report directly
to the coordinator of travel. They will assist with the facilitation of day
trips including, driving the vans, and escorting trips for the City of
Greeley Recreation division.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
Minimum Requirements
Current Driver s License including clean driving record.
One to Three (1-3) years of customer service experience.
Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or ability to obtain
within 3 months of hire required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to drive 14 passenger vans safely, observing all traffic laws.
Knowledge of basic GPS, computer, and software literacy.
Collaboration skills, including the ability to work with others from
different areas and backgrounds to reach a common goal.
Computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs
(i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and learn and
experiment with new software and systems.
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate interaction,
communication, and teamwork between others.
Oral, written, and listening communication skills, including the ability
to accurately interpret what others are saying and convey messages,
information, concepts, and details accurately and clearly.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and reliable
professional judgment, as well as collaboratively with a team to achieve
desired results.
Ability to maintain a strong work ethic, positive problem-solving
attitude, and enthusiasm for the work performed.
Ability to self-start and take initiative in completing daily tasks and
special projects.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals from diverse
backgrounds, cultures, and ages.
Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices, including
customer needs assessments, meeting quality service standards, and
evaluating customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
Customer service skills, including the ability to actively listen, address
customer needs, defuse tense situations, and maintain an open,
flexible, and friendly demeanor.
Essential Functions:
Provides safe transportation for groups in passenger vans.
Escorts day trips participate in activities with the group.
Responsible for all travelers to and from destination.
Assists with the coordination of all day trips.
Assists in program evaluations.
Assists with the creation of new travel programs.
Enforces policies and procedures.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Regular exposure to various weather driving conditions.
Ability to drive outside of Greeley city limits.
Ability to sit long periods of time while driving.
Workdays may include early mornings, late evenings, as well as weekends.
Variable Hour Position: employees are expected to work less than 25 hours on
average per week.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
