JOB REQUIREMENTS: Prepares and reconciles Dispatch daily sales and
deposits. Performs cash receipting. Serves as liaison to intercity buses
and reconciles intercity sales. Performs routine audit and
reconciliation of outlet ticket sales. Maintains documentation and
coordinates duties in preparation of various department audits and
reviews. Assists the Director and other staff with compliance of the
PTASP (Public Transit Agency Safety Plan) Assists the Director and
Operations Manager with the Drug & Alcohol Program. Enters purchase
requisitions and serves as backup to the Finance Manager and/or Transit
Director for fuel purchase approvals. Approves routine purchases up to
dollar threshold established by the Transit Director. Ensures that Green
Bay Metro is in compliance with all FTA procurement requirements.
Coordinates and compiles NTD data and surveys. Provides oversight for
the Section 5310 Federal funding. Maintains farebox system, including
implementation of changes, troubleshooting, etc. Verifies ridership and
ridership revenue from farebox system. Provides statistical information
to the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for compliance with
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and transportation improvement
program (TIP). Assists Finance Manager with maintaining fixed assets
records. Provides work relief assistance to other administrative staff.
May perform receptionist duties answering inquiries from callers or
walk-in individuals. Prepares various reports. All other duties as
assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associate
Degree in Business or a related field. 1-3 years related experience.
Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and procedures and basic
office procedures. Working knowledge of business English, spelling,
punctuation and grammar. Working knowledge of business letter forms and
general filing procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking
skills. Skill in performing mathematical computations rapidly and
accurately. Skill and ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
Ability to proficiently utilize a computer and the required software,
including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to
understand fairly complex oral and written instructions. Ability to work
independently without specific instructor and to exercise independent
judgment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
staff and the public. Ability to work the required hours of the
position. May be required to demonstrate minimum competency by
