specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with
dealership Test-drive Trucks, and test components and systems, using
diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining,
and repairing vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical
steering, suspension, brakes,, etc. Communicate directly with the
Service Advisor/Service Manger so that customers can be informed if any
additional service is needed. Executing repairs under warranty to
manufacturer specifications Qualifications Ability to learn new
technology, repair and service procedures and specification ( being open
to training) 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred but not
required 2 year degree or certificate preferred Excellent customer
service skills Basic Computer skills Positive, friendly attitude, along
with a customer service mentality Enjoy working in a fast paced
environment Team player Ability to learn new technology, repair and
service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic
diagnostic equipment Have a valid drivers license with a clean record

trucks and buses to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are
working properly. Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts
and screws, and reassemble equipment. Adjust or repair computer
controlled exhaust emissions devices. Align front ends and suspension
systems. Attach test instruments to equipment, and read dials and gauges
to diagnose malfunctions. Diagnose and repair vehicle heating and
cooling systems. Disassemble and overhaul internal combustion engines,
pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, and differential units.
Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety
devices. Follow green operational practices involving conservation of
water or energy or reduction of solid waste. Inspect and verify
dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory
specifications. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel
bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper
operating condition. Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and
mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps and compressors.
