JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY: The Pace Analytical Green Bay Environmental Lab is a leading environmental laboratory located in Green Bay, WI. We are adding seasonal team members to the Wet Chemistry Department. These entry level positions will provide employees with a taste of working in an environmental lab while also supporting one of the largest environmental cleanup projects in the US. No Experience required! We train on the job! The successful candidate will work in a team environment to process samples in preparation for their analysis. Responsible for providing supportive activities in the operation of the lab, samples, and related daily maintenance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills. 1. Maintains and stocks supplies, tools, and related items. 2. Cleans laboratory glassware according to GLP methods; picks up, transports, and delivers glassware to required location(s) keeping wash and storage area clean and organized. 3. Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required. 4. May pick up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items as needed. 5. Assists with reviewing, completing and processing documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery. 6. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department\'s service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team. 7. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
