place to give care. Job Summary Responsible for receiving customers into
clinic, welcoming patients/visitors; provides direction, assistance
and/or referral to support pleasant and efficient Clinic Operation. What
you will do * Welcomes patients and visitors as they enter
clinic/department. Directs them to appropriate location including
clinical, ancillary or business areas. * Helps patients needing
assistance. Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using body
mechanics techniques. * Follows clinic protocol in alerting appropriate
personnel in emergency situations. * Handles customer concerns in
helpful, objective manner, involving manager as appropriate. * Arranges
for necessary transportation including cabs, clinic vans. * May assist
in maintaining waiting areas. * Maintain lost and found. Education
Qualifications * High School Diploma and/or GED Required Experience
Qualifications * 1-3 years Minimum of one year customer service
experience or volunteer position Preferred Skills and Abilities *
Knowledge of customer service concepts including importance of
appropriate image. * Knowledge of clinic policies/procedures,
department locations/personnel. * Knowledge of emergency protocols. *
Skill in appropriate welcoming techniques. * Skill in providing current
directions to visitors. * Skill in behaving appropriately in all
situations including emergencies and use of equipment. * Ability to
communicate clearly and positively with all types of customers and can
establish/maintain cooperative working relationships. * Ability to
follow oral and written instructions. * Ability to maintain attractive
