Job Title: Forklift Mechanic
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Forklift Mechanic to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining and repairing our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) . This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Powered Industrial Trucks , with a focus on electrical systems, hydraulics , steering, braking systems, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair MHE, including pallet jacks, standup/sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and turret trucks .
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, steering, hydraulics, braking systems, axles, hubs, tires, and wheels.
Conduct repairs by removing, replacing, assembling, and installing parts and components.
Diagnose power equipment issues, determine repair solutions, and execute preventive maintenance.
Maintain accurate records in the SAP system and communicate effectively on work order statuses.
Perform test drives to verify repairs and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Assist in training other mechanics and stay current with evolving equipment and technologies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61672.00 - $61672.00/yr.
