Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Mechanic will also assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and navigate and improve CMMS processes . Collaboration with production and engineering teams is essential to identify and resolve equipment-related issues and enhance overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
Diagnose mechanical, low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues , and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment , ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in conformance with auditing standards.
Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
Conduct all work in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and processes.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Repairing gearboxes, bearings, and chain-driven conveyors
Diagnosing and repairing low voltage (24v) electrical issues
Navigating and improving CMMS processes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with industrial maintenance
Mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics and pneumatics
Familiarity with safety precautions
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
