About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Supervisor, you will guide the team responsible for maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job falls in the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Set the team goals for performance and deadlines. Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision. Supervise employee efficiency and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prioritize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.

  • Announce important information from upper management to employees.

  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve timecards.

  • Receive raised complaints and resolve difficult problems.

  • Verify alignment to legal and company policies and procedures. Complete disciplinary actions if the need emerges.

  • Resolve sophisticated problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.

  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.

  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.

  • Requires the ability to explain sophisticated concepts or sensitive information and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
