GREENFIELD \$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS Healthy Families Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: The overall intent of Healthy Families supervision is to ensure home-visiting staff and supervisors collaborate effectively to promote resilience and well-being in the young families served. The HF Supervisor provides high-quality individualized supervision to a team of home-visiting staff incorporating reflective, clinical and administrative components. The HF Supervisor is responsible for creating an environment that encourages staff self-reflection and growth, provides motivation and support, and monitors accountability and quality. Additionally, the HF Supervisor provides program leadership by facilitating referral and enrollment activities as well as planning and implementing group services. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree in human services or field related to working with children and families. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with young children and families from a collaborative/ family-centered approach; Experience providing home-visiting services highly preferred; Experience in prevention services to the 0 ? 3 age population preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience assessing needs of multi-stressed families, providing clinical support to families and/or staff, and providing crisis intervention as needed. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing/motivating staff and providing team leadership. Knowledge of prevention service delivery based on promoting protective factors in families. Knowledge of infant/toddler development, parent-child attachment concepts and determinants of social-emotional health. Knowledge of local resources preferred. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience or Additional directly related experience may be substituted for education SKILLS REQUIRED: Proficient computer skills: using a mouse, email, Microsoft office products, databases, and internet usage Excellent verbal (in-person and phone) and written communication skills, including facilitation and mediation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service, effective problem-solving and time management skills Strong reflective capacity as evidenced by ability to exercise introspection and integration Ability to provide culturally competent support and engage in practices that emphasize inclusion of diverse individuals. Ability to facilitate positive teamwork and provide leadership and decision-making. Ability to work collaboratively with relevant community partners and access resources and services; Understanding of data capture and tracking methods. Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity and the needs of individuals with low incomes. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement program according to Healthy Families Massachusetts policies and procedures toward the program goals of: Preventing child abuse and neglect by supporting positive, effective parenting skills Achieving optimal health, growth, and development in infancy and early childhood Promoting increased educational attainment, job, and life skills Reducing repeat teen pregnancies Promoting optimal parental health and wellness Provide weekly individualized supervision to home-visiting staff that incorporates reflective, clinical and administrative components: Facilitate reflective practice with home-visiting staff by utilizing skills of mindful self-regulation, empathic inquiry, collaborative exploration, capacity building and integration. Support home-visiting staff in administering assessment and screening tools, understanding families; needs, building upon families\' competencies, identifying relevant resources and planning parenting support activities/ strategies. Maintain required documentation of supervision and monitor required documentation of service delivery in paper and electronic records.
