GREENFIELD Special Education Team Leader (ETL) Job Description
Greenfield Public Schools is seeking a special education professional to
work with a team of professionals managing the IEP team process for
students. This is a district-wide position and will have a caseload
comprised of students from one or more schools. The assignment will
likely include early childhood and early elementary grades. DUTIES:
Following the IEP/Team process, manage a caseload of students with IEPs
through duties that include but are not limited to the following:
Coordination of initial special education eligibility process and
meetings Manage an IEP caseload and schedule and facilitate IEP Team
meetings in compliance with regulations Compile input from the team to
create professional, timely, and accurate IEPs using district practices
and procedures and connected to early childhood outcomes Conduct
educational/developmental evaluations on referred students when needed
Facilitate positive relationships with culturally sensitive approaches
with students and families and work collaboratively with educators,
special education administrators, and school administrators
QUALIFICATIONS: MA Special Education Teacher or Related Services
Certification ? (Moderate or Severe Disabilities, Speech & Language
Pathologist, or - Other Special Education Certification) Experience as a
special education teacher or related services provider Such alternatives
as deemed appropriate At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience
preferred. Bachelor degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work
