GREENFIELD SWIFR Recycling Outreach Coordinator Grant Funded Full-Time
37.5 hrs, Benefited Position The Recycling Outreach Coordinator is
responsible for developing and implementing the automated single stream
recycling program under the Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling
(SWIFR) Grant . This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the
city\'s goals and services are well-understood by the community. Serves
as the primary point of contact between the city and the public,
answering inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns. The
Recycling Outreach Coordinator performs highly responsible duties for
administering the SWIFR grant recycling program, including but not
limited to organizing events, setting up meetings, preparing and giving
presentations and creating materials that promote the recycling program.
Minimum qualifications: Associate\'s Degree in environmental studies,
communications, social work, marketing or related field is preferred or
supplemented by one (1) to three (3) years of proven significant and
relevant experience focused on community engagement or public relations;
experience in creating and implementing outreach strategies, marketing
techniques, coordinating events and programs with various stakeholders,
and achieving outreach goals is preferred; or any equivalent combination
of experience and education that provides the skills and ability
required to perform the work. Special Requirements: Must have valid
Class D Driver\'s license and have an acceptable driving record and be
insurable under city\'s policy and occasional use of personal vehicle.
Must successfully pass CORI/SORI checks; Ability to work weekends and
evenings when necessary for community events. Salary \$21.33/Hour
