Job Overview
The facilities general maintenance mechanic will have a paramount priority towards safety and productivity and will work diligently to help sustain an effective and efficient site services utility department. Work is often performed under time and budgeting constraints to help achieve the sites operating efficiency goals and preventative maintenance performance results. The successful candidate must be analytical, detail oriented, and enjoys a challenging work environment with many opportunities to develop and grow within the organization. This position will report to the Utility Maintenance Supervisor.
Duties:
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
• Perform corrective maintenance and other types of work orders as assigned
• Install electrical and mechanical equipment which includes but are not limited to running conduits, electrical wiring, and other peripheral devices
• Perform studies for Energy efficiency opportunities
• Must be able to read schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Write reports to communicate and document equipment and process conditions
• Train others in field of expertise
• Initiate purchase requests for parts and supplies
• Must be able to participate in snow removal activities.
What your background should look like:
Requirements:
• Working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Basic Working Knowledge of H.V.A.C. systems
• Basic skills in the following trades: Plumbing, Carpentry, Mechanical.
• knowledge of general building maintenance
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• High School Education or Equivalent
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to train others
• Must be willing to work any shift, modified shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $50,880 – $63,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
