This position typically requires 5 years of relevant experience. You will design technical solutions according to given prerequisites such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality targets, and regulations in mechanical areas. You will support and lead mechanical design engineering activities in a specific area and play an active role in delivery. You will integrate deliveries from others and ensure quality and readiness before release. You will ensure that the design fulfills business targets and requirements, provide input for product and system roadmaps, and network with universities and external institutes for your technical area. Additionally, you will participate in business development and innovation, develop and manage networking across the organization, and provide input to project prerequisites based on component history. In this level role, you will apply advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience. You will support junior team members and peers, act as a role model of lifelong learning by sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer or coach. You may dig deeper into your discipline while building a broader profile. You will develop influence and work confidently within the wider network and clearly articulate how you are creating value within your part for the TD/BA.
Hard Skills
Strong Design/Release engineering experience
CREO experience
FEA experience (a plus)
Prior automotive routing/packaging experience in pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical (a plus)

This is a contract position with a duration of 65 Weekly.

This is a fully on-site position in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Technical Center-open work environment, no assigned seat but department tries to sit together. Lockers provided.
