POSITION SUMMARY The Service Technician is responsible for installing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and related equipment in a timely high-quality manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

• Installs new HVAC units in commercial or industrial buildings.
• Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC systems.
• Removes old or existing HVAC Units
• Provides customer with information related to proper operation of system.
• Provides customer with information as it pertains to the job.
• Maintain company vehicle according to company policies.
• Ensures all required paperwork is in order.
• Complies with company and industry safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPEIRENCE

• Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.
• Two years related experience required.
