WHAT DOES A HEAP INTAKE SPECIALIST DO?

As a new HEAP Intake Specialist at Miami Valley Community Action Partnership, you can expect a dynamic role where you will be responsible for conducting intake interviews, reviewing eligibility criteria, and assisting clients with program applications. You will work closely with individuals in need, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them access vital services. Your day-to-day schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a consistent and structured work routine. With comprehensive training and ongoing support, you will quickly become an integral part of our team and play a crucial role in supporting our community members.
