CODEX

The Nightwing CODEX (Cyber Offense and Defense Experts) division brings together an elite team of mission-focused industry experts who are well known for their ability to overcome the most advanced technical challenges. The team comprises engineers of multiple disciplines including vulnerability research, reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, system engineering, data analytics and test engineering.

Job Description

Development experience in at least one high-level programming language such as C, C++, or Python is required. Experience with common network APIs and network protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, etc) is required. Experience with user-space development for a major operating system such as MS Windows or Linux is required, kernel-space development is a major plus. Familiarity with low-level development on a common architecture (x86, ARM, etc.) as well as assembly programming and scripting is also a plus.

Projects will be undertaken in small teams with close coordination with customers to quickly enhance capabilities or resolve issues in existing tools or implement new tools. Working as part of a team, you will also need to be familiar with source management tools such as GIT and team coordination tools like the Atlassian suite of work products. All candidates must be US citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Security Clearance & Other Requirements

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Skills

Experience with C, C++, or Python either through prior internships or educational coursework.

Experience with Windows and/or Linux application programming through prior internships or educational coursework.

Desired Skills

Reverse engineering; binary static analysis

Required Education

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber, or other related field.
