Description: Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as a Delivery and Sustainment Quality Representative supporting the F-35 Program! This position will function as the F-35 Depot Modification Quality Lead located at Tel Nof Air Base 8 in Rehovot, Israel. Organizationally, this position aligns with the Modifications, Upgrades and Overhaul (MUO) Quality Team for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) and will be a direct report to the MUO Quality Senior Manager. The selected candidate will deploy directly from their current location to Rehovot, Israel.

The selected candidate will represent LM Quality & Mission Success (Q&MS) in Rehovot, Israel. Quality Delivery & Sustainment Representative will support the F-35 depot activation efforts and provide product quality support in an operational environment including delivery, maintenance, and modification efforts. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with platform User, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management (SCM)/Supplier Quality Management (SQM) and Sustainment to ensure quality standards are in place for aircraft product modification and delivery.

• Apply diagnostics and other condition-based maintenance techniques.

• Validate/verify Mod Engineering Package trial run/First Article Inspection (FAI) (tools/parts/planning/engineering).

• Final acceptance of finished product and/or modification efforts.

• Identification of technology insertion opportunities where applicable.

• Measurement of delivery, set up and sustainment quality performance Product and Process Surveillance of inventory management and warehousing in support of depot and field level maintenance.

• Design verification methods and validates for Company and industry regulatory compliance.

• Provide quality assistance during site start up activities – develop and execute Joint Quality Management Plan as applicable to the contract arrangements.

• Oversight of contractual compliance with LM and 3rd party operations at various sites conducting product delivery, maintenance, and operations.

• Collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with Customer, Company, and Program procedures relative to the Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Modifications.

• Perform other related duties and assignments, as required.

• Must be proactive and always utilize sound judgment; diplomatic with the ability to establish and preserve a creditable relationship with all personnel.

• Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends.

• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at an OCONUS facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Aircraft Depot-level or Field Team Mod Quality experience

• F-35 Aircraft Quality experience.

• Detailed working knowledge of aircraft acceptance and Mod/Overhaul processes at customer locations.

• Fighter platform operations and maintenance experience.

• Post-delivery modification program experience.

• Root Cause Analysis experience or training.

Desired Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• Experience with aircraft flight release, Red X & Exceptional Release process/authority.

• Experience with modification design packages and instructions.

• Working knowledge of various related standards including AS9100/9110, DMCA8210, NAVAIR4790, AFI21-101, FAA requirements.

• Experience with AS standards audits, USG audits and industry standards audits.

• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.

• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.

• General understanding and experience with operational aspects of fighter platform, vehicle or weapon system maintenance processes used by LM and the customer.

• Experience leveraging the quality tool sets including statistical analysis, RCCA tools, Red X, measurement systems and others in support of product delivery and sustainment environment.

• General understanding and experience with operational aspects of fighter platform, vehicle or weapon system maintenance processes used by LM and the customer.

• Related degree or equivalent experience/service/combined education.

• Demonstrated skills utilizing structured problem solving.

• Ability to speak Hebrew is a plus.

• Experience partnering with foreign military

customers and contractors.

• Familiarity with the Israeli Air Force.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
