OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Electrical student
for a paid summer internship for Summer 2025 at our Greenwood Village, CO
office. This position will support the Electrical team in Merrick's Life
Sciences business unit. This position will offer the opportunity to work on a
wide array of projects including biocontainment laboratories and other
research facilities. Imagine working on rewarding client projects and being

The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through
mid-August 2025.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Merrick Internship Program will provide an undergraduate or graduate
student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of electrical
design. Our intern will be exposed to a variety of electrical engineering
experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, facility electrical
power, lighting, grounding, fire detection, lighting system,
communication systems and security and access control.
The position requires the collaboration with other disciplines, ability to
interface with clients and contractors, follow schedules and budget
commitments, work independently, possess good written and oral
communication skills and the ability to problem solve. Must meet expectations
for attendance and punctuality. Students who have recently graduated will not
be considered. Please look for Entry Level Electrical Engineer positions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of facility electrical and lighting design and/or power system
design
Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate
or technologist degree.
Must be pursuing a degree as an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technologist
with an electrical emphasis.
Client Projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Knowledge of power distribution design software (SKM, PowerTools, Easy Power).
