Are you an experienced Estimator? Do you have a passion for precision? Spherion is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Estimator to join our team in Groesbeck, TX.
Perks and Benefits: Full time, permanent position Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM schedule Starting Pay rate of $20 per hour
Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for machining and fabrication projects. Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs. Maintain organized records of project estimates, revisions, and communications. Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and provide project updates.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills: Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and equipment is a plus.
Education: High School
Experience: 1-4 years
Qualifications: Previous experience estimating machining and fabrication projects in a metal job shop environment. Exceptional mathematical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical specifications. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
