Under the direction of the Assistant County Engineer or the Superintendent, the employee operates various types of heavy equipment in the completion of various projects for the Engineering and Road Maintenance Department. Employee operates a motor grader and other heavy equipment to perform the most difficult finishing and grading operations for road and special projects. Employee is also responsible for maintaining equipment and performing manual labor as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a high school diploma, or equivalent
Possession of a current and valid Alabama Driver's License
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
Possession of a valid Alabama CDL
