About the Role:

As a skilled technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing equipment, the facility physical plant while optimizing productivity, and upholding our commitment to delivering top-tier service.

What You'll Do
* Perform maintenance tasks to uphold safe and reliable facility operations.
* Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and thoroughly document repair outcomes.
* Maintain equipment, facility, and grounds appearance.
* Update maintenance records using computerized systems.
* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues, and conduct necessary repairs or replacements.
* Collaborate with team and operations members, to resolve maintenance issues and improve processes.
* Supports new or modified electrical power installations and/or component replacements.
* Perform a wide variety of basic construction trades functions.
* Coordinates and supports facility wide recycling initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, innovative technologies, and maintenance best practices.
What We're Looking For
* High school diploma/equivalent; additional technical certifications or trade school education.
* 3-5+ years' relevant work experience in industrial or commercial maintenance environment.
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a similar role or industry.
* Must have training or equivalent basic AC/DC electrical knowledge. Certifications a plus.
* Powered industrial trucks experience a plus (Operating and/or repair.)
* Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Millwright experience a plus.
* Proficient in using hand/power tools, diagnostic equipment.
* Ability to comprehend technical manuals, documents, specifications, and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Detail orientated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Effective communication and people skills for collaborating with team members.
* Possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, CMMS, and other business applications.
* Physically able to stand, climb ladders, crouch, crawl, and lift 50lbs unassisted.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to following safe work practices.
* Meet all attendance policy and punctuality standards.
