What do Information Security Engineer III do for Conduent?
As an Information Security Engineer – Cloud Security, you are a key stakeholder in Conduent’s CISO organization. The cloud threat & vulnerability management team is responsible for identifying, tracking, and communicating threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Conduent cloud assets. We accomplish this by working closely with other CISO groups, IT, and business owners. This is a hands-on role that will drive and lead efforts within WIZ to drive down security issues on cloud assets. This role will be assisting in setting up projects and scanning in WIZ, perform reporting, assisting with general cloud security questions, and tracking and helping stakeholders to assist remediating vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
A highly qualified candidate would be able to:
Have at least 2 years in threat and vulnerability management, asset management and related areas using WIZ.
Track new and emerging threats to our environments
Highly engaged with both internal and 3 rd party security assessments of Conduent (NIST, PCI, HIPAA, HiTrust, Client Audits, etc.)
Validate and triage identified vulnerabilities; work with business lines and members of the CISO team to track remediation efforts to their completion
Contribute to team strategy in managing threats and vulnerabilities
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Minimum two years’ experience security information within threat and vulnerability management; specifically using WIZ
A solid understanding of risk-based decision making and risk management frameworks
Experience driving an enterprise security program's evolution to meet new requirements
Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
