About the role:
Partner with Business Leaders on strategic and local business and human resource (HR) priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organization effectiveness (performance, organization design & capabilities and change management). Keep a finger on the pulse of the organization and external market and human resource trends.
What you will do:
General Responsibilities
Collaborate to support the business unit or function
Collaborate as a member of the Business HR Team, including (if applicable) HR Director, and Business HR Partner(s), Workforce Planning and Analytics and People Relations
Partner with HR in the COHREs and CBS to influence and execute HR strategy, policies and programs
Promote adoption and continuous improvement of the HR Partnership Model in the business and facilitate collaboration among Business HR, CBS HR, CoHREs
HR Partnering
Understand local market and external factors to develop insights and to support Business HR, CoHREs and business decisions
Collaborate with Business HR Team on key business decisions
Use Workforce Planning and Analytics to inform solutions development (e.g. career planning, targeted compensation, incentives, retention, etc.) through anticipation and understanding of issues and trends future labor, organization and business needs
Provide support and guidance to business colleagues related to the execution and management of the HR strategy in the respective Business Unit/Global Function
Talent Management
Advise and coach business leaders on interpretation of HR policies, consulting with CoHREs as needed
Understand and apply, as appropriate, the company’s philosophy, principles and programs (including, e.g., total rewards, learning, people development and mobility)
Deploy and execute CoHRE-developed strategies (including, e.g., rewards & recognition, employer brand, development and learning)
Partner with the Talent Acquisition CBS and hiring managers to support the recruitment, hiring, and social onboarding of staff
Work with the Business HR Team to support succession plans
Partner with the Learning CBS to Identify learning needs that are informed by business needs, current performance gaps, and future capabilities required
Support the execution of the Learning Demand Plan
Provide continuous improvement feedback and perspective
Execute campus recruiting programs, including orientation and rotational programs
Organization Effectiveness (Organization Performance, Design, Capabilities and Change Management)
Collaborate with HR and Business Leaders to support implementation of organization design
Facilitate and support change management execution tailored to specific Business Unit and Global Function needs
Collaborate with Business Managers on execution of employee engagement initiatives
Partner with the Compensation CBS to support compensation actions for key talent
Identify areas of opportunity for Total Rewards
Ensure proper matches are identified for Salary Surveys
Lead, develop and manage Business HR trainees and interns (as applicable)
Execute international assignment transfers (legal documents, net pay estimates, onboarding)
Positive Employee Relations
Advocate for employees through workforce relationships
Support leaders’ initiatives to create and maintain a positive employee relations work environment
Manage the internal grievance process
Support employee and labor relations training for management and supervisory staff, including coordinating the use of outside legal resources to deliver training
Establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand the pulse of the organization
Advise and coach business leaders and managers on the resolution of employee inquiries and issues, consulting with Legal as needed
Champion the company’s Ethical Leadership standards, behaviors and compliance
Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion CoHRE to implement relevant local initiatives
What do you need for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
5- 7 years of progressive HR experience; experience in manufacturing and/or consumer products industry preferred
Experience in providing HR advice to HR partners and business colleagues
Experience in implementation of HR initiatives
Experience in at least one HR Specialty Area (Compensation, People Relations and HR Generalist)
Intermediate Advanced English Level
