Position:
Western Colorado University invites applications for the full-time position of
Enrollment Communication Strategist. The position reports to the Director of
Admissions, works closely with admissions and marketing staff, and is
responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of prospective
student communications.
Responsibilities:
The Enrollment Communications Strategist is responsible for creating a
comprehensive calendar for communications, digital, electronic, and print, to
deliver relevant, timely, and accurate information to prospective and incoming
students and other constituents. The Enrollment Communication Strategist
creates, manages, and monitors the creation, scheduling, and delivery of
assets (recruiting and transactional).
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, education,
liberal arts, or related
-Demonstrated strength in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
skills
-Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage
multiple projects effectively, both simultaneous and in parallel
-Capability to work individually and as a member of a team
-One or more years of experience in developing admissions, financial aid, or
enrollment engagements and communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's degree in related field
-Experience and/or training in communicating with diverse populations
-Bilingual communications skills, verbal and/or print
-Experience in higher education, not-for-profit environments, and/or K-12
school systems
Compensation:
$51,000.00-53,000.00 FSLA Exempt. Western offers an excellent benefits package
including shared premiums for a comprehensive health insurance plan, dental
insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, and other insurance options. After
one year of employment, Western provides free tuition for dependents enrolled
full time in undergraduate programs for up to four years.
