Shire Tender & Document Specialist in Gurgaon (Baxalta), India

  • Develop and track the annual calendar of all institutional tenders and contracts across India. Coordinate closely with Business Leads in the region to gather and publish a central tender visibility tracker for Franchise Head. Coordinate with VD & A and other international teams for ongoing project updates, submissions and cadence.

  • Ensure team completesthe filing of all the tenders (Paper work, compliance, Submission)in coordination with cross-functions & BLs

  • Conceptualize, plan and organize new strategies for brand inclusions in various tenders along with team. Partner with Business Leads to help them strategize for AHF therapy specific funding program by variousgovt. bodies.

  • Coordinate with multiple internal stake holders to service the overall needs of the accounts/ customers. Aid Franchise Sales Leaders to make contingent plans for liquidation of products in specific acccounts.

  • Provide timely competitive intelligence and solutions to Franchise Leadership regarding market performance, change in bueracracy, competitive tender landscape etc.,

  • Coordinate with multiple internal stake holders to service the overall needs of the accounts/ customers. Have a HO-level visibility on challenges and needs at each tender body level. Control AR customer-wise and reduce overdue < 5% through strong Process Orientation.Minimize administrative obstacles for smooth conduct of business. Regular interaction with Finance, BL’s, LA’s to keep AR under control is a must.

  • Partner with Business Leads to identify, and appoint business partners – Distributors and LA.Plan, strategize, recommend and monitorsmooth transactions andwork-flow of existing partners(margins, payment, collection, terms etc.,)

  • Co-ordinate with RA/SC/Legal SPOCs to obtain tender specific docs; develop and build a rapport with Tendering authorities of Top 5 States/ER segment.

  • Proactively engage VD & A team to secure pricing approvals ahead of upcoming tenders.

  • Provide strategic inputs on terms & conditions of the tenders, define our strategic differentiations, Define product strategy for all Hematolgy tenders (acorss both State and ER segments)

  • Publish the monthly/quarterly tender dashboard to CCFT and CLT. Complete update on tenders submitted, planned.

  • Actively seek out/scout for institutional business opportunities for Shire’s upcoming franchise businesses in India (GD, Oncology) so as to lay the foundation for 2018-19 product launches.
