Overall Position Objective

To provide guidance and support to Division Marketing Managers and the Sales company organization, ensuring the timely and well-coordinated execution of the Win Strategy and Group’s Strategy Deployment in the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, to consolidate and coordinate Group’s Marketing and promotional activities to ensure that the Group’s strategic direction is consistently reinforced and advanced.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

• Drive and support Divisions in developing marketing and profitable/sustainable growth strategies, ensuring their implementation in concert with the SC Organization

• Develop and execute an AP Marketing and Business Development strategy that is aligned with Group’s goals

• Actively participate in development and execution of Group’s platform strategy, and coordinate its implementation across AP Divisions

• Provide leadership and guidance to FCG-AP platform BDMs ( direct report ) and to develop new business and opportunity.

• As an integral part of FCG AP management team, contribute to strategy development, enhancement, and implementation.

• Coordinate Group Marketing activities (promotional material, advertising, exhibitions, divisional marketing coordination) – aimed at one single image for the Group.

• Lead and execute AP eBusiness plan

• Propose and recommend strategic partners in the region.

• Continuously gather market intelligence on competitors’ activities (product development, sales strategies, potential divestitures)

• Actively seek to expand sales into existing and alternative (or, new) markets.

• Work closely with Group and Sales Company’s pricing managers to ensure pricing program objectives are constantly achieved

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

• Relevant business/technical degree (B.A. / B.S. or higher) - MBA is a plus

• Excellent English required (oral / written) -

• Proven excellent communication and influencing skills including across different cultures/countries and within a complex matrix organization

• Experienced, pro-active leader with ability to build and manage a professional team

• A results-oriented approach and proven organizational skills

• (Ideally) experience of/empathy with Operations.
