responsibilities:
Administer, develop, and support the Firm's Elite 3E platform, encompassing Thompson Reuters Elite 3E, Paperless Performa, Design Gallery ("DG"), Workspace, and Iridium. Responsibilities within the firm's financial/marketing application stack include:
Scheduling month-end maintenance activities like Windows updates, SQL maintenance, query optimization, and security patching.
Coordinating inter-departmentally during system upgrades, assessing and communicating risk factors of upcoming upgrades, especially when integrated systems lead to a "trickle-down" effect.
Collaborating with application stakeholders and the IT team to prioritize and address issues and future objectives for financial systems.
Conducting testing of financial system applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades, and monthly system maintenance.
Documenting system setup, integrations, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Communicating project statuses, issues, and proposed resolutions to the department and management.
Managing vendor support tickets.
Monitoring and optimizing system performance and storage utilization, planning for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
Researching and evaluating new tools/technologies to enhance the current application stack.
Utilizing tools to safeguard application source code and maintain versioning.
Fulfilling any additional responsibilities as required by management.
Other responsibilities include:
Administering, maintaining, and integrating Compulaw.
Performing basic 'end user' application troubleshooting and maintenance for tools such as FasTax, B&A Forms, Allstate legal forms, LexisNexis, etc.
Handling support requests/tickets escalated from the helpdesk team.
Documenting processes/procedures, creating 'how-to' guides, and resolving frequently asked questions.
