Overview: Quinnipiac University invites applications for an Associate Registrar: Records and Curriculum Management to provide oversight and production of the student record, degree completion activities, the university catalog, commencement activities, and degree conferral. This position represents the office to other University and non-University groups in the absence of, or at the request of, the University Registrar, and also manages and oversees the production of operational-level data reporting and cycle based setup.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for oversight of the student record, transcript and associated academic policies
Curriculum Management: responsible for maintenance, testing upgrades, and implementations, including documentation and training for all levels of users as it relates to university degree audit tools & software; responsible for setting up Colleague and Self-Service for each catalog year for degree audits & changes to academic policy
Oversight of the yearly catalog project
Serve as lead for Commencement related activities
Articulate study away and transfer credit
Develop, evaluate, and support the Registrar's Office operations using technology and process evaluation where applicable; collaborate with staff to identify areas for process improvement; evaluate, propose recommendations for changes, and implement changes, including any technology solutions and proper documentation. Work with ITS and others for any needed integrations to ancillary systems
Represent Registrar's Office on related committees, and others in the absence of the Registrar
Create, maintain, and share reports for all functions of Registrar's Office as needed, and produce ad hoc reports as requested
Professional development required to keep up-to-date with new technologies and advancements that are used/could be used by the office
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in registrar services or student records
An analytical and functional technical background with the ability to shift focus where needed to support ever evolving demands of the Registrar’s Office
Strong team and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain positive relationships with other team members including support staff, and more senior staff & administrators
A service-oriented perspective in which, to the greatest extent possible, student and faculty are treated in such a way as to feel valued and well served in their contacts with the school through you
Ability not only to maintain the confidentiality of student and faculty records, but also the ability to discern when it is appropriate to divulge privileged, if not necessarily, confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
