Job Description:

Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilledCertified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team for the2024-2025 school year in Hamlet, NC. As a COTA in a school setting, you willplay a vital role in assisting occupational therapists in implementing therapyplans to help students achieve their developmental and educational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to assess students' needs and develop customized treatment plans.

  • Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary.

  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in North Carolina.

  • Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
