Round. Position requires vigorous physical activity and willingness to
work during extreme weather conditions. Position involves routinely
walking down steep trails to install, check on, maintain, and adjust
snowmaking and other equipment as needed. Qualifications: - Familiar
with the use of a chainsaw. Will train if not. - Helpful but not
required is experience in operating heavy machinery. Will train if
necessary. - Team player - 18 or over. - Attention to detail. - Problem
solving skills. - Not afraid of heavy labor. - Must be committed to
providing a quality product for guests to enjoy, as well as committed to
performing job duties in a safe and efficient manner. - Must be able to
work weekends and holidays. - During snowmaking season schedule will
vary based on snowmaking opportunities. Must be able to work consecutive
days in a row at times exceeding 40 hours and 12 hour shifts. Overtime
paid for any hours over 40. - Punctual and prepared to perform work
duties. - Able to withstand extreme weather conditions. - Able to work
standing up for extended periods of time. - Able to walk and physically
negotiate steep and variable terrain without difficulty and assistance
on a frequent basis. - Able to regularly lift 10-100 lbs. - Able to ride
a chairlift and not afraid of heights. - Safety conscious and oriented
Responsibilities and Duties: - Trail maintenance such as mowing, tree
trimming and brush removal. - Replacement of infrastructure piping as
needed. Digging trenches and assisting in exploration efforts for
locating leaks. - Assist in daily PH readings and drinking water well
operations as needed. - Cleaning and general maintenance of Wastewater
Treatment Plant as needs arise. Putting the Snowmaking System to bed in
the spring. Getting the mountain ready for Snowmaking operations in the
fall. - Assist in the Mountain Adventure Park when short staffed. JOB
