Summary About the Position: Serves as Chief, Management Integration Office, Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). Specialized Experience: To qualify for DJ-04 (GS-13/14) grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the DJ-03 (GS-12) level in Federal service which includes: 1) Operating administrative systems to prevent misappropriation of assets; 2) Assuming responsibility for employees under current supervision; and 3) Partnering with chain of command to validate effective business processes. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision Making Financial Management Analysis Leadership Oral Communication Problem Solving This position is covered by the Science and Technology Laboratory Personnel Management Demonstration Project at the DJ-04 (equivalent to GS-13/14). In accordance with the Federal Register Vol. 63, No. 57, dated March 25, 1998, an employee of the Laboratory Demonstration project must have a current average performance score of 2.5 or above in order to be selected for promotion. All applicants currently employed under a Laboratory Demonstration Project must include their most recent performance appraisal score as part of their electronic resume.
