BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor, Regional Inventory Center will be responsible for all inventory accuracy and will supervise, plan and coordinate the workflow within the RIC operations.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for all inventory accuracy and all operations inherent to RIC operations.

· Supervises, plans and coordinates workflow within the RIC operations.

· Performs and records all monthly, quarterly and yearly cycle counting according to MSC policy and procedure.

· Records and maintains all necessary DOT compliance training and updates.

· Maintains all warehouse vehicles, including training of warehouse associates on use. Maintains documentation.

· Maintains close relationship with sales team to support customer needs.

· Organizes, motivates and leads warehouse team to achieve defined business goals.

· Accurately enter customer CSIA’s, and update customer files and records as necessary. (Min/Max)

· Meets or exceeds sales revenue objectives through use of approved promotional tools and methods.

· Implements approved continuous improvement processes and activities.

· Performs all duties inherent in the position of MSC Supervisor as defined by the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates.

· Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

· Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or the equivalent is required.

· Minimum one year of experience as a supervisor is required.

· Sales and industry related experience is preferred.

SKILLS:

· Excellent organizational and time management skills required.

· Good communication skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials (maximum 75 pounds – individual or team lift), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, climbing using legs and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, reaching high and low, and repetitive twisting or pressure, involving wrist and hands. Hearing, seeing (including depth perception and peripheral vision), ability of mental coordination. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required for position. Must be able to operate at heights up to 50 feet. Mentally alert for entire shift.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· A valid driver’s license is required.

· In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.

· Bending and lifting to move items that are at least 50 pounds.

· Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet high.

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Compensation starting at $53438 - $76340 depending on experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
