The purpose of this position is to conduct inspections for enforcing state laws and regulations governing the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences to ensure the health, safety and well-being of personal care home and assisted living residence clients. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Human Services Licensing Representative, you are primarily responsible for conducting inspections of personal care homes and assisted living facilities. These inspections include the initial, annual, interim, and provisional follow-up to ensure compliance with all state laws and regulations. This requires a full working knowledge of all state laws, regulations, regulatory interpretations, policies and procedures, and management directives related to licensing of these facilities. In addition, you conduct complaint and incident inspections. During these inspections, you investigate the complaint or incident by interviewing residents, staff, or any other individual involved in the complaint or incident. This position requires a high degree of independence and discretion.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. flexible work schedule The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
